Local Funding Partnerships is the sole owner of the information collected on this website. LFP collects information voluntarily submitted by visitors to the Web site, which enables us to respond to requests. We gather this information from our users at several different points on our Web site.
Contact Us
A user is asked to complete an information form including such data as name, e-mail and postal address. We use this information to contact the user about services on our site for which he or she has expressed interest. For example, we respond to inquiries about grantee resources and funding opportunities. We also use this information to mail or e-mail our newsletter and Call for Proposals.
Grant Applicants
This privacy statement does not apply to the information collected through the grant application process. There is no expectation that information submitted as part of a grant application is considered private.
Grantees from Active and Closed Grants
This privacy statement does not apply to the information collected through our password-protected LFP grantee resource pages. It is understood that such information may be posted on our Web site, shared with staff at The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, or disseminated to any other parties interested in this work including but not limited to funders, policymakers and members of the LFP National Advisory Committee.
Meeting Registration
In order to register for LFP meetings, a registration form must first be completed requesting such data as name, phone number, e-mail and postal address. LFP uses this information to prepare meeting materials, and in some cases, releases this information to meeting presenters and speakers. There is no expectation that information submitted as part of a meeting registration is considered private. This policy also pertains to meetings of other groups and organizations when the registration is handled through this LFP Web site.
Information Use
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information about the user. Cookies are not programs that come onto a visitor’s system and damage files. Usage of a cookie is not linked to personally identifiable information while on our site.
We use session-based cookies for session navigation purposes. By setting a cookie on our site, users would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. For example, cookies are used for purposes such as but not limited to meeting registration, applicant registration forms and grantee data sharing. Non-password related pages do not use cookies.
Log Files
Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track users' movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information to third parties. We will only share personally identifiable information with third parties when (i) the person submitting the information authorizes us to share it including but not limited to the provisions enumerated in this privacy policy; or (ii) we are required to by law.
As e-mails and postal deliveries regarding Local Funding Partnerships are often sent on our behalf by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, we share personal information as appropriate to facilitate these mailings to individuals who have requested materials.
As previously stated, information submitted as part of a meeting registration is not considered private. Such personal information may be shared with meeting presenters such as workshop leaders in order to facilitate preparation for the meeting. Sharing such information is not intended to open registrants to solicitations; however, LFP has no control over subsequent use of disseminated information.
Security
We have taken reasonable steps to maintain the integrity and privacy of your information to ensure that your information is processed confidentially, accurately and securely.
